Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you decide.

Whole-home water filtration is a meaningful home upgrade. Here are clear answers about performance, installation, servicing and warranty.

01 How does a whole-home water filtration system work?

The system is installed on your home’s main water supply, so water passes through the selected filtration stages before it is distributed to connected taps, showers and appliances. This creates one central filtration point rather than relying only on a separate drinking-water tap.

02 What can an Easy Water system reduce?

Filtration performance depends on the selected system, filter media and your local water supply. A recommended system may be configured to help reduce selected substances such as chlorine, sediment, heavy metals and other unwanted contaminants. We will explain the relevant specifications, test information and certifications for the system proposed for your home.

03 Will every tap and shower be filtered?

When installed at the main point of entry, the system filters water supplied to connected outlets downstream of that point. Any line that bypasses the installation would not be filtered, so the installer will confirm the intended coverage for your property.

04 Will the system affect my water pressure?

The system should be sized for your household’s flow requirements and installed professionally. Actual pressure and flow can also be influenced by the incoming supply, existing plumbing, system configuration and simultaneous water use, so these factors are considered before a recommendation is made.

05 How often do the filters need replacing?

Easy Water’s current service cycle anticipates filter replacement at around the 12-month mark. The appropriate timing can vary with household usage, incoming water quality and the installed system. We can provide reminders and arrange servicing when replacement is due.

06 Where will the system be installed?

It is generally positioned near the point where the main water supply enters the home. The final location depends on access, plumbing layout, protection from the elements and space for future servicing. A suitable location is confirmed before installation.

07 How much does whole-home filtration cost?

Pricing depends on the property, water supply, system size, filtration requirements and installation work involved. After a free water test and consultation, we can provide a tailored recommendation and written quote before you decide.

08 What does the lifetime warranty cover?

Lifetime warranty coverage is subject to the written terms supplied with the eligible system. Those terms set out what is covered, exclusions, servicing requirements and other conditions. Review the current warranty document for your proposed system before purchase.

Product performance, servicing and warranty coverage depend on the selected system and the written documentation supplied for that system.
