Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions explain the terms that apply when you engage Easy Water Filtration for the supply, installation and servicing of whole-home water filtration equipment.

Last updated: 16 August 2026

01

About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions are issued by Parkes Home Services Pty Ltd ABN 12 697 659 813, trading as Easy Water Filtration (“Easy Water Filtration”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

They apply to the use of our website and, where incorporated into or referred to by a quotation, order, electronic agreement or other customer contract, to the products and services supplied by us.

A customer’s signed quotation, order or agreement may contain additional terms specific to that customer, property or installation. If there is an inconsistency, the signed agreement will generally prevail to the extent of the inconsistency, subject always to rights and obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

02

Quotes and customer agreements

Before installation, we will provide information about the proposed filtration system, installation and price.

An order is accepted when the customer electronically signs the relevant agreement or order documentation and the required deposit has been received, unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

The customer is responsible for reviewing the details of the agreement, including the installation address, system specifications, pricing and any information relating to site conditions, before accepting it.

Recommendations are based on the information available to us at the time, including information supplied by the customer and observations made during any site visit, consultation or water test.

03

Pricing, deposit and payment

Unless stated otherwise, all prices quoted by Easy Water Filtration are in Australian dollars and include GST.

Deposit

A deposit equal to 50% of the agreed purchase price is required before an order can progress to installation.

If the customer cancels before an installation has been booked, the deposit will be refunded.

Once an installation appointment has been booked, the deposit is treated as non-refundable to the extent permitted by law, having regard to costs, commitments and losses reasonably incurred by Easy Water Filtration in preparing for and reserving the installation.

Nothing in these Terms permits us to retain an amount where doing so would be contrary to applicable law. Where required by law, any amount that cannot reasonably or lawfully be retained will be refunded.

Final balance

The remaining balance is due on the day of installation unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in writing.

04

Installation booking

Installation appointments are subject to installer availability, access to the property, availability of required equipment and any other reasonable operational requirements.

Once an installation date is confirmed, we may allocate equipment, plumbing resources and installer time specifically to the customer’s job.

We will provide reasonable confirmation of the scheduled installation and may contact the customer before installation to confirm access, property information or other details.

05

Cancellation and rescheduling

Before installation is booked

A customer may cancel before an installation appointment has been booked. In this situation, any deposit paid will be refunded.

After installation is booked

A customer may cancel after installation has been booked, however the deposit may be retained in accordance with the deposit provisions above and subject to applicable law.

Rescheduling

Customers may request to reschedule an installation by giving us at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled installation time.

Requests made less than 48 hours before installation may not be able to be accommodated and may be treated as a cancellation unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

If Easy Water Filtration needs to reschedule an installation, we will contact the customer and arrange another suitable time. The customer will not be charged a cancellation or rescheduling fee because of a rescheduling initiated by us.

06

Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide information that is accurate and complete, including:

  • the correct property and installation address;
  • reasonable information about the property and existing plumbing;
  • requested photographs of the mains meter or proposed installation area;
  • details of known access restrictions or plumbing issues;
  • information reasonably requested to plan the installation; and
  • safe and reasonable access to the property on installation day.

The customer must tell us about any material information that could reasonably affect the scope, difficulty or cost of the installation.

07

Installation and site conditions

Our quoted installation price is based on the information reasonably available to Easy Water Filtration before the installation.

If additional work or cost should reasonably have been identified by our representative based on the information and access provided before the agreement was entered into, we will not ordinarily pass that additional cost on to the customer merely because it was overlooked by us.

If additional work becomes necessary because information was withheld, materially inaccurate or misleading, or because a relevant site condition could not reasonably have been identified beforehand, we may provide the customer with a price for the additional work before proceeding.

We will not undertake material chargeable additional work without first informing the customer and obtaining agreement, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to leave plumbing or the property in a safe condition.

Installation is plumbing work only unless a customer agreement expressly states otherwise.

08

Water testing

Easy Water Filtration may conduct an onsite water test as part of the consultation and recommendation process.

Depending on the circumstances, onsite testing may include measurements relating to total dissolved solids (TDS), electrical conductivity (EC), selected minerals, total and free chlorine, and total hardness.

Our onsite testing is indicative only. It is not an accredited laboratory analysis, comprehensive drinking-water safety assessment or medical test.

An onsite test does not identify every possible substance, contaminant, microorganism or water-quality characteristic that may be present.

Unless specifically supported by written product specifications or independent testing applicable to the system supplied, no representation should be taken as a guarantee that a filtration system will remove every substance that may be present in a customer’s water.

09

Third-party finance

Where requested, Easy Water Filtration may introduce a customer to an independent third-party finance broker or finance provider.

Easy Water Filtration does not itself provide the credit and does not guarantee that a finance application will be approved.

Eligibility, approval, interest, fees, repayments and all other finance conditions are determined by the relevant third-party provider and are subject to that provider’s terms.

Any finance agreement is a separate agreement between the customer and the relevant finance provider.

10

Filter replacement and maintenance

Whole-home filtration systems require ongoing filter replacement and maintenance to operate as intended.

As a condition of Easy Water Filtration’s voluntary Lifetime Warranty, replacement filters must be supplied and replaced through Easy Water Filtration at intervals not exceeding 12 months.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure filter replacement is completed within each required 12-month period.

Failure to meet this requirement will end eligibility for the voluntary Lifetime Warranty from Easy Water Filtration. This does not remove or limit any rights the customer may separately have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Replaceable filter media and cartridges are consumable components and the term “Lifetime Warranty” does not mean that those consumable filters themselves are intended to last for the lifetime of the system.

11

Lifetime product and workmanship warranty

Easy Water Filtration provides a voluntary Lifetime Warranty covering the filtration equipment supplied by us and our installation workmanship, subject to the conditions in these Terms and any warranty documentation supplied with the system.

What “Lifetime” means

For the purposes of this voluntary warranty, “Lifetime” means for as long as the original customer continues to own the filtration system and it remains installed at the original installation address.

The Lifetime Warranty is personal to the original customer and original installation address and is not automatically transferable to a subsequent property owner or a new property.

Warranty conditions

To maintain eligibility for the voluntary Lifetime Warranty:

  • filters must be supplied and replaced through Easy Water Filtration;
  • filter replacement must occur at intervals not exceeding 12 months;
  • the system must remain at the original installation address;
  • the system must not be improperly modified, interfered with or used in a manner that causes or contributes to the fault being claimed; and
  • the customer must provide reasonable access for assessment or warranty work where required.

Where these conditions are not met, the voluntary Lifetime Warranty may cease to apply. Any rights arising independently under the Australian Consumer Law remain unaffected.

Making a warranty claim

To make a claim, contact Easy Water Filtration and provide reasonable details of the problem, the installation address and any supporting photographs or information we request.

We may inspect or assess the system before determining the appropriate warranty remedy.

Where a claim is accepted under our voluntary warranty, we will repair, replace or otherwise remedy the covered product or workmanship issue as reasonably appropriate at our cost.

Customers should obtain our approval before engaging another person to perform work for which reimbursement is sought. If a claim is not covered, we will advise the customer before carrying out any separately chargeable work.

Important

Our voluntary Lifetime Warranty operates in addition to any rights and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

12

Moving or relocating the filtration system

A filtration system may be capable of being removed and installed at another property, however relocation is not included in the original installation price.

Any removal, relocation or reinstallation performed by Easy Water Filtration will be separately assessed and charged.

Relocating the system from the original installation address ends the voluntary Lifetime Warranty attached to the original installation, unless Easy Water Filtration expressly confirms alternative warranty arrangements in writing.

Where a customer’s purchase includes a complimentary or free servicing entitlement connected with the original installation, that entitlement also ends when the system is relocated unless we agree otherwise in writing.

13

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right, remedy or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

Consumer guarantees may apply to both the filtration equipment supplied and the installation or other services provided by Easy Water Filtration.

These statutory rights are separate from, and may continue regardless of, the voluntary Lifetime Warranty described in these Terms.

14

Delays and circumstances outside our control

Installation dates are scheduled in good faith but may occasionally need to change because of circumstances such as installer illness, unsafe conditions, severe weather, supply interruptions, unexpected plumbing conditions or other matters reasonably outside our control.

If this occurs, we will contact the customer and make reasonable efforts to arrange another suitable installation time.

Nothing in this section limits a customer’s rights where a service is not supplied within a timeframe required by applicable law.

15

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Easy Water Filtration is not responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by information, acts or omissions of the customer or another person, except to the extent that the loss or damage was caused or contributed to by Easy Water Filtration.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or to prevent a customer from recovering loss or damage where they are legally entitled to do so.

16

Website information and intellectual property

Information on our website is provided for general information and may be updated from time to time.

Product images, diagrams and illustrations may be representative and minor details may differ from the system ultimately supplied, provided that any material differences will be addressed in the customer’s quotation or agreement where appropriate.

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, written content, branding, graphics and other original material on this website are owned by or licensed to Easy Water Filtration and must not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission.

17

Privacy

Personal information collected in connection with enquiries, water tests, quotations, finance referrals, installation and servicing is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can read our Privacy Policy here.

18

Complaints and disputes

If a customer has a concern about a product, installation, payment or other service issue, we encourage them to contact us first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.

We may request relevant information, photographs or access to the installed equipment where reasonably necessary to assess the issue.

Nothing in this section restricts a customer from exercising any right to contact a consumer protection body, regulator, tribunal or court.

19

General

Electronic acceptance

Agreements may be entered into electronically. An electronic signature or other electronic acceptance may be treated as acceptance of the relevant agreement and incorporated terms.

Changes to these Terms

We may update the website version of these Terms from time to time. Changes will not retrospectively alter a customer’s existing signed agreement unless permitted by law and agreed where required.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable Commonwealth law and, for services supplied in Victoria, the laws of Victoria, Australia.
